Virtually Invisible Deer Fence Installation Instructions

Everything recommended in these insturctions, such as heavy duty posts, corner systems, and end systems, is derived from knowledge and experience of leading wildlife control professionals. Following these instructions will ensure that you will have the strength and durability of a professional deer fence installation.

  1. Place all corner posts and end posts, burying them at least 36" deep. This will determine the line for placing your posts.
    Note: If installing access gates that were purchased without the gate frame you must allow 6" in addition to gate width when placing
    when placing end posts at the opening. (If you have a 4ft. gate, place posts 4' 6" apart.)
  2. Reinforce all corners with an inside corner system.
  3. String up the top strand of monofilament wire and tighten. Now you have the defined line for placing your posts.
  4. If running a bottom strand of monofilament, do so now. Run the bottom strand as close to the ground as possible.
  5. Place your line posts every 15-20 ft. If you're using 9ft. angle steel posts for your line posts make every 3rd post a heavy duty deluxe post. Drive the angle steel posts 1-1.5ft. deep depending on whether you have 7.5ft or 8ft. tall fencing.
  6. Begin unrolling fence along your posts. Hand tighten fence and secure to posts using 4-5 self locking ties per post.If you need to use more than one roll of fencing, overlap the ends by several feet and fasten with hog rings and a hog ring plier .
  7. Fasten the fence to the monofilament using either self locking ties or hog rings every 3ft.
  8. Secure the bottom of the fence using ground stakes every 5ft.
  9. Install any access gates and hang warning banner every 5ft. approximately 4ft. off the ground.
