Flying Deer Almost Hits Bikers

Cyclists were finishing a 45-mile bike ride in Charlotte, NC; when suddenly, they see a white-tailed deer hurtling toward them. The deer was hit by an Audi, that continued on without stopping, and left the deer to die in the street.
The cyclists were not injured in the occurrence; and caught it all on video. See for yourself:
This is why Department of Transportation need to plan for better road safety measures when it comes to wildlife near major roadways (deer fencing is the key). And...where are the bike lanes on this road?
