Industries Using Hemp

Growers recognize the wonders of hemp and are on-board with growing the cash crop.

While hemp and marijuana come from the same cannabis plant, there is one distinct feature that makes them different. Marijuana is used for recreational and medicinal purposes with psychedelic components; however hemp contains less than .3 percent of THC, making it a widely accepted plant to use in several industries including textiles; industrial textiles; paper; foods; body care; and building materials.

More specifically, hemp is used to make clothing, rope, cardboard/packaging, oils, fuels, soaps and shampoos.

Hemp can grow practically anywhere; and with its versatility, it's no wonder why growers are choosing to learn how to grow hemp.
