Shopping for critter control fence? You've come to the right place. Fence buyers looking for wildlife fencing to block rabbits and groundhogs should not consider plastic fencing, as rabbits will chew through the material. Instead, they should investigate different types of metal fencing.

Welded Wire Fence

The 14 gauge welded wire is not a good option for rabbit control in gardens due to its different size mesh holes. The fear is that bunnies and other small critters will squeeze through the fence holes. However, the 19 gauge welded wire with PVC contains 1" x 1" mesh holes to block small critters. It is square-shaped and looks good on properties.

Steel Hex Web Fence

Known for its virtual invisibility, this 20 gauge steel fence looks similar to chicken wire with PVC-coating. It is slightly less stronger than 19 gauge welded wire; but contains 1" x 1" mesh holes like the 19 gauge weld wire. The difference lays in the look of the fencing, as it is hexagonal in shape. The hexagonal shape helps to block deer and other critters from chewing through the fence as these animals have trouble wrapping their mouths around the fence mesh.
