Teach Kids To Garden

Jennifer Smith

Posted on July 05 2018

When discussing agriculture, kids want to know where their food comes from and how it goes from being in the ground to on their plates. This is why teaching kids  how to garden and about the food processing system is important.

The REAL School Garden Program reported that 12-15 percent of students working in school gardens increased standardized test scores. School gardening programs teach kids the fun of growing their own food while being outside with friends. Gardening is a fun way to learn!

Make a Difference To Children Month can be anything to benefit the lives of children. This July, teach kids how to plant their own vegetables in a fun atmosphere, supervised by their heroes, the teachers.
